Spotlight: Boasted some strong form in his 3yo season, including a 1m win at the York Ebor meeting (good to firm); this is a slightly belated reappearance but he has the profile of one who could do better again as a 4yo.

Spotlight: Course winner who has recorded creditable frame efforts on all three outings this season, on the latest finishing 2l second to subsequent Royal Hunt Cup fifth over C&D (good to firm) three weeks ago; did meet a bit of trouble on that occasion but he wasn't closing at the finish.

Spotlight: Steady improver for George Boughey, doing well having been forced to switch when leading on the line over 1m1f at York (good to firm) three weeks ago; another 4lb higher now but there is probably more to come.

Spotlight: Won three in a row at around 1m last August-October and reappeared with promising second at Newmarket (1m, good) in April; has had excuses for two defeats since, with 1m2f possibly too far at Longchamp then hampered when making headway at Newcastle last week; the Newmarket form is solid and he's respected despite a wide draw.

Spotlight: Notched wins at around 1m at Thirsk (good to firm) and Epsom (good to soft; ridden by Oisin Murphy) at the start of the summer; well held in the Buckingham Palace over 7f at Royal Ascot but he can make more of an impact back at 1m and with Murphy returning to the saddle.

Spotlight: Scored against her own sex at Glorious Goodwood (1m, good to firm) last summer; bettered that form when second over 1m at Ascot (good to firm) in May but was never a threat in the Kensington Palace at the Royal meeting there since.

Spotlight: Has made a solid start for this yard, finishing fourth of 14 in a valuable 7f 3yo handicap at Goodwood before finishing third over 7f here (good to firm) three weeks ago; the way he kept on again after getting outpaced at this venue suggests this step up to 1m may suit.

Spotlight: Classic placed in 2023; a close second in the Thirsk Hunt Cup (1m, good) on reappearance shows he's still smart but he was well beaten in the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot (1m, good to firm) since.

Spotlight: No win since his 2yo days but was placed several times during a spell in Australia; returned to Britain with a good fifth of 22 in the Lincoln at Doncaster (1m, good to soft) in March but two lesser runs have followed.

Spotlight: Had a barnstorming year in 2024 with five wins (including C&D) and he improved again when making the most of a good draw at the Chester May meeting (7.5f, good); has found life tougher from a triple-figure rating twice since but his good Sandown record makes him hard to discount.

Spotlight: Lightly raced 4yo who showed improved form to win over the extended 1m at Epsom (good) on his reappearance in April; held up in a race which wasn't run to suit such tactics when only seventh to Mirsky back there since; 1lb out of the handicap.

Spotlight: Listed winner in Germany but no impact in two handicaps at around 7f since being trained in Britain; now steps back up to 1m minus the blinkers he wore at Royal Ascot last time; eased another 2lb but it doesn't look enough.
